Custom bokeh or Defocus effect in Nuke Here i am explaining how to create Custom bokeh or Defocus effect using convolve tool inside Nuke and how to generate chromatic aberration with the bokeh effect. There are several custom plugins and Gizmos available for creating bokeh effects in nuke. But how to create Custom bokeh shapes using Nuke's by-default tools. Here is the solution. Nuke's "Convolve" tool doing the magic. Here is some examples: Default circle shape. Custom heart shape. Used roto tool to create heart shape. You can use Letter or special characters. Convolve tool. Nuke--> toolbar--> filter--> convolve. Convolve have B and A input arrows. B for source input and A for custom shape ( Create by yourself ). Connect both inputs and change channels to rgba and enable channel as rgba.alpha to make it work. convovle default property widow: convovle modified property widow: Generate chromatic aberration: Chr
